FOGLEMAN, Kathleen Ruth Born November 16th 1949 and ascended to the Heavens to begin her eternal life with Christ almighty on July 16th 2015 Kathy lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed giving to those around her whether she knew them personally or not. Kathy was born a miracle baby in Sunnyvale CA and came as a big surprise to her parents as they were told they were unable to conceive and had previously adopted Kathy’s older sister Judy. Kathy met and fell in love with her high school sweetheart, Ray Fogleman, and with the blessing of their parents they were married six days after Kathy’s 18th birthday on November 24th 1967. Kathy was a stay home Mom for years until she went to beauty school and became a hairdresser, working in a convalescent home in Santa Rosa. She was loved by all of her clients. Soon after, she began working for a local dentist just beginning his practice and she worked for him for over 30 years, retiring in 2012. Kathy loved to travel and she and Ray traveled all over the globe, most recently working with their church and Camp South Africa to help the impoverished children there with food, shelter and the good news of Jesus Christ. Kathy is survived by her husband of 48 years Ray Fogleman, daughter Kelsey Shideler (Roger), son Aaron Fogleman (Vickie) and son Joel Fogleman as well as by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Kathy was also a well-loved auntie to many nieces and nephews. As an active member of Spring Hills Community Church in Santa Rosa, Kathy loved to chip in and help with many causes and charities locally, feeding and clothing our homeless and less fortunate as much as possible. We as a family appreciate all of the love and support we have received from family, friends, and Hospice. A memorial service will be held for Kathy on Saturday, July 25th at 11:00 a.m. at Spring Hills Community Church, 3700 Fulton Rd., Santa Rosa, CA 95403. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Kathy’s beloved outreach to impoverished South African children, Camping 4 Africa. Make checks payable to Alliance Redwoods with C4A in the memo line. 6250 Bohemian Hwy, Occidental, CA 95465.
